RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – The mother of a Virginia girl, who was abducted by 37-year-old Delvin Barnes, has strong words for her daughter’s attacker.

“I just want to kill him,” the victim’s mother said. “I just want to kill him.”

Deputies say Barnes allegedly hit the 16-year-old girl in the head with a shovel and forced her into the trunk of his car.

Authorities allege he took her back to his home, where he raped her and later poured bleach and gasoline on her.

“When he went to go look for a lighter or something, he told her that he was going to kill her, that she was going to die,” the victim’s mother said.

According to WWBT, deputies say Barnes even began digging her grave.

“After all that beating, raping, choking… all of that, she got away,” she said.

Barnes was arrested earlier this week after allegedly kidnapping another victim in Philadelphia.

She was later found alive in Maryland.

The first victim’s mother has a strong message for Barnes.

“God bless him. You did not succeed, and I hope that your a** fry in hell,” she said.
