UPDATE: Officials have given the ‘all clear’ after a threat was received at Wal-Mart.

Authorities say Wal-Mart employees and customers have been allowed back into the building.

OKLAHOMA CITY – As a local mall was evacuated for a power outage, shoppers at a nearby Wal-Mart were evacuated for a different reason.

According to Oklahoma City police, shoppers at the Wal-Mart, near Pennsylvania Ave. and Memorial Rd., were evacuated Saturday evening because of a “non-specific threat.”

Officers say management at the Wal-Mart decided to evacuate customers as a precaution.

Authorities are currently investigating the threat.
