Man arrested for abuse after police find hand print on child’s face

OKLAHOMA CITY – A 20-year-old man was arrested after being accused of abusing a child.

Officers were called to S.W. Grand Blvd. after receiving a call about an abused child.

When police arrived, they saw the little girl.

According to the arrest affidavit, the victim “had a hand print on her right cheek with bruising around her eyes. [The victim’s] lip was also swollen and she had bruising under her left eye.”

When confronted about the injuries, 20-year-old Ricardo Rodriguez told the victim’s mother that the little girl had fallen and hurt her face.

When she came to pick her daughter up, she noticed the girl’s injuries and confronted Rodriguez.

Rodriguez was arrested for child abuse and domestic abuse.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be checked out.
