Garth Brooks sells over 105,000 tickets for Tulsa shows in just 2 hours, 7 concerts coming in January

TULSA, Okla. –  Garth Brooks is breaking records in Oklahoma!

The Oklahoma native and country music superstar has sold more than 105,000 tickets for his concert series at the Bok Center so far Friday.

That’s just after two hours of tickets sales, and his tickets are still selling!

Brooks breaks a record he set back in 1997 for ticket sales of a July concert at Driller Park when he sold 79,855 tickets.

Tickets for Garth Brooks’ upcoming concerts are on sale now, and now there are more to choose from.

They went on sale 10 a.m. Friday.

Soon after the tickets started selling, Garth Brooks announced additional Tulsa shows.

He has added three more concerts to the calendar, and now he has added one more to the calendar, a 10:30 p.m. show on Jan. 10.

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will perform at the BOK Center in Tulsa.

The Oklahoma native and country music superstar will be making his first appearance in Tulsa in over 17 years.

Shows will be as follows:

  • Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 – 7:00 p.m. NEW DATE 
  • Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 -7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. NEW DATE 
  • Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 – 7 p.m.  NEW DATE 
  • Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015 at 7 p.m.
  • Friday, Jan. 16, 2015 at 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 at 7 p.m.

Tickets went on sale on Friday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m.

Organizers say there is an eight ticket limit.

Tickets are $70 each and are being sold at Ticketmaster.
