Cowboys Roll In Season Opener

Oklahoma State’s men’s basketball team blew open a close game and dominated the second half in a 83-55 win over Southeastern Louisiana on Friday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater.

OSU led by just two at halftime, but held SLU to just 25 percent shooting in the second half and outscored them 48-22 after intermission.

Le’Bryan Nash led the Cowboys w ith 22 points.

Phil Forte added 17 points, hitting five three-pointers, and Lleyton Hammonds had 16.

OSU hit 12 three-pointers as a team and outscored Southeastern Louisiana 29-5 off turnovers.
