The first round of the 2014 Oklahoma high school football playoffs provided plenty of exciting moments.

In the bigger division of class 6A, Mustang pulled a 22-19 upset win at Broken Arrow.

Mustang will take on Tulsa Union in the 6A-I semifinals on Friday, November 21.

In the smaller division of class 6A, Midwest City, the only Oklahoma City area school to host in the first round of class 6A, was upset by Sand Springs 29-28 in overtime.

Del City successfully scored on a late two point conversion to take down Deer Creek 28-27; the Eagles face McAlester in the 5A quarterfinals.

Defending 3A state champs, Kingfisher beat John Marshall 39-7 to advance to the second round.

Kingfisher plays Seminole to keep a repeat chance alive on the 21st.

Staying in 3A, Cushing won 28-14 at Bethany and earns a chance to play Marlow in the second round.

Douglass took down Perkins-Tryon 32-20 to advance and play Lone Grove in the second round of class 3A.
