OKLAHOMA CITY - NewsChannel4 personalities Scott Hines and Emily Sutton are heading out to Arizona for the Ironman Triathalon competition this weekend.
The pair will complete a grueling eight to 17 hour-long test of human strength on Sunday, November 16.
The NewsChannel4 morning team gave Emily and Scott a big send-off Friday morning to wish them well on their big adventure.
The Ironman starts with a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride and then a full marathon, consisting of 26.2 miles.
Emily and Scott have teamed up with local non-profit, Go Mitch Go, to fight one of the leading causes of death in children, blood and bone cancer.
Mitchell Whitaker was diagnosed with leukemia at 8-years-old, and Emily and Scott have dedicated this journey to Mitchell.
Emily and Scott are using the Ironman to bring $200,000 to Go Mitch Go to help fund cancer research.
