Saturday morning, temperatures are expected to be in the upper 20s.

Experts say there will be a little bit of moisture in the air, meaning there is a slight chance for light snow or sleet.

However, it will quickly move along and there likely won’t be much accumulation.

High temperatures for Saturday are expected to reach 46 degrees for the central part of the state.

All that will change on Sunday.

An arctic cold front will move through early Sunday morning and an upper level disturbance will follow.

With that upper level disturbance, a chance for heavy snow is possible in northern Oklahoma.

The snow will move south and will likely reach the metro by mid-morning.

Temperatures are expected to be in the 20s but will feel like the single-digits.

The 40s will return next week, which will feel like a heat wave after this cold snap!

Stay tuned for the latest.
