Cowgirls Rebound With Rout of Bears

Oklahoma State’s women’s basketball team bounced back from their first loss of the season earlier in the week to North Carolina with a 77-36 win over Missouri State on Saturday at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater.

Brittany Atkins paced the Cowgirls with 20 points, hitting four of OSU’s nine three-pointers.

Two other OSU players were in double figures for scoring, with LaShawn Jones scoring 13 points and Roshunda Johnson 12.

The Cowgirls committed just five turnovers in the game and outscored the Bears 21-5 off turnovers.

OSU improves to 3-1 and will host Morgan State on Tuesday at 2:00 in Stillwater.
