OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities have arrested a 38-year-old Oklahoma City man for a bizarre attack on his roommate’s boyfriend.

On Monday, officers rushed to S.W. 25th St. after a man was allegedly attacked while visiting his girlfriend.

When police arrived, they found the victim lying face down on the porch of an apartment complex, covered in blood.

According to the arrest affidavit, the victim was inside his girlfriend’s apartment when her roommate, 38-year-old Tony Walters, walked in and became angry.

The victim’s girlfriend and Walters allegedly started arguing about whether the victim could stay or had to leave.

According to the affidavit, the victim got up to leave, saying he didn’t want to cause any issues between them.

“As [victim] walked toward the door, [Walters] grabbed the knife, yelled something about Obama and charged at [victim,]” the report said.

At that point, officials say Walters tried to push the victim down the stairs.

When he didn’t fall, authorities allege Walters “struck him multiple times with the knife in the head.”

Walters was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon.
