Edmond pharmacy fined for allegedly violating the Controlled Substances Act

EDMOND, Okla. – An Edmond pharmacy has paid $43,000 in fines to settle claims stemming from violations of the Controlled Substances Act.

Sherry’s Drug is accused of using a non-valid DEA registration number to fill prescriptions for controlled substances.

Prosecutors say those violations took place from early 2010 through early 2014.

Sherry’s Drug did not admit liability, but did agree to pay the civil penalties to the federal government.
