Oklahoma  City Thunder star Kevin Durant thinks he's the best player in the NBA, and while some may argue it's LeBron James of Cleveland, both sides have worthy arguments.

Thursday night at 7:00 at Chesapeake Arena, Durant's Thunder and James' Cavs meet for the first time this season.

Cleveland enters the game on an eight-game winning streak, while the Thunder have won three in a row, their longest streak of the season.

Durant says he can't control what other people think about who the best player in the NBA is, all he can do is be the best player he can be and try to get better.

Durant will be playing in just his fifth game of the season after missing the first 17 games with a broken foot.

James may not even play against the Thunder.

He did not speak to the media at the Cavaliers' shoot-around Thursday morning, because he was getting treatment for a sore left knee.

James' status will be determined at game time.
