Man arrested in New Mexico for allegedly kidnapping children in Oklahoma

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Authorities say they have found two children in New Mexico who had been kidnapped from Oklahoma.

On Wednesday, the United States Marshals Service arrested Vincent Armijo in New Mexico.

Officials say Armijo had an outstanding warrant in Oklahoma for kidnapping two young children and taking them to New Mexico.

Fortunately, the children were found safe and were turned over to another agency until their mother could arrive in the state.

Armijo was taken into custody and is now awaiting extradition to Oklahoma.
