OKLAHOMA CITY - When it comes to technology, it can be a bit overwhelming for some.

If you are looking for a little less tech, there are several options that are currently on the market.

GreatCall Touch 3-  It is designed for seniors with limited tech skills. It is a Samsung Android phone with a 4-inch touchscreen with simple menu options. It also has health and safety features. It is sold online for $150 plus a one-time activation fee. No contract is required.

Samsung Galaxy smartphones - The mainstream phones can be great for seniors because of their large screen size. Also, you can switch to "Easy Mode," which provides larger, well-labeled icons for commonly used functions. They are available at most cell phone carriers for $400 to $850 without a contract.

Huawei Ascend Mate 2 & Vision 2 - These simplified smartphones offer a more affordable option to seniors living on a budget. Both phones have large screens and offer a "Simple" mode. They are sold through the Consumer Cellular website for $100 or $250 with no contract. The company also offers a discount to AARP members.
