OKLAHOMA CITY– An Oklahoma City woman was arrested after allegedly stabbing a man during a fight about a text message that he sent her on Sunday, according to police.

According to police reports, Constance Walker, 49, went to her boyfriend’s house allegedly drunk and angry about a text that he had sent her earlier in the night.

The victim claims that he was joking when he told Walker that he was “with a white female.”

According to the affidavit, Walker arrived at the man’s apartment and the two exchanged a few words before she grabbed an ashtray and hit the man several times over the head.

Police say she then snagged his guitar and ran out into the parking lot, where the couple began a tug-of-war over the instrument .

At that point, the affidavit claims Walker stabbed the man in the wrist.

However, the alleged victim was able to grab the knife and hide it in his car, police say.

Walker is being charged with domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
