OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities say a Canadian County man confessed to downloading and trading child porn following an investigation by a local sheriff’s department.

Investigators arrested 34-year-old Walter Miller III after he allegedly downloaded a pornographic video of under-aged children being sexually molested by men.

Authorities say they learned a pornographic image was shared from Miller’s computer, which sparked an investigation.

After being confronted, authorities say Miller gave a full confession.

He told investigators that he was trying to satisfy his curiosity about child porn.

“Anyone who needs to satisfy an urge to see what sexually molesting a child looks like has a serious problem. Satisfying these curiosities often leads to fantasies being acted out on real children,” said Sheriff Randall Edwards, with the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office.

Miller was taken to the Canadian County Jail on charges of possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography and violating the Computer Crimes Act.

His bond was set at $130,000.
