NEW YORK – With seven days before Christmas, many families are working to get all those presents under the tree before Dec. 25.

If you still have a bit of holiday shopping to complete, several companies are hoping you head to a website to finish off those wish lists.

Dec. 18 has been named ‘Free Shipping Day’ with more than 1,100 retailers offering free shipping to customers who make online purchases on Thursday.

There is no minimum purchase required to qualify for free shipping and the companies promise delivery by Christmas Eve.

Some businesses are also offering discounts on certain items as well.
