OKLAHOMA CITY – A routine traffic stop helped Oklahoma authorities capture a Texas fugitive.

On Sunday, an Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office deputy noticed a car driving recklessly near NW 122nd Street and N. Pennsylvania Avenue.

According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office, the deputy discovered the car had been reported stolen out of Texas.

Officials say the man initially gave the deputy a false name.

However, the deputy later figured out the man was 37-year-old Quinten Leon Robinson.

Robinson has a warrant out of Texas for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Robinson is being held at the Oklahoma County jail until he can be extradited to Texas.
