COLLEGE STATION, Tex. - It's the end of an era for College Station, Texas and Texas A&M fans.

A controlled demolition brought down the west side of Kyle Field early Sunday.

The stadium is undergoing  $450 million dollars worth of renovations.

It took a couple of thousand pounds worth of explosives to cause the big boom.

The new and improved Kyle Field should be ready for the Aggies' first home game of the 2015 season, which is on September 12th.
