OKLAHOMA – Tonight looks mostly cloudy and much cooler than last night with highs in the mid to upper 40s and a northwest breeze at 10-20mph putting wind chills in the 30s.

Some extra moisture will head south out of Kansas and into northern Oklahoma tonight into Wednesday morning.

Because temperatures will be so cold at cloud level, light snow will be mixed in with the rain showers.

Temperatures here on the ground will likely stay above freezing, so roads won’t be a problem unless we see a heavier band of snow move in.

Otherwise, expect lows in the low to mid 30s and wind chills in the 20s by Wednesday morning.

Christmas Eve will start off cloudy in the morning and end with sunshine during the afternoon and evening.

Temperatures will struggle against that stubborn northwest breeze at 15-25mph, but we’ll at least get into the low to mid 40s and out of the 30s.

Christmas Eve night into Christmas morning will be chilly with lows in the upper 20s and lower 30s, but we’ll warm up nicely into the upper 50s and lower 60s with a southerly breeze at 15-25mph.

Stay tuned for updates!
