OKLAHOMA CITY –  A woman has been arrested following a bizarre attack at a local grocery store.

On Dec. 17, officers learned that a woman had been attacked after shopping at Walmart, located in the 6000 block of W. Reno Ave.

According to the police affidavit, the victim told officers that a stranger approached her as she was trying to get in her car.

The victim told authorities that the woman was very intoxicated and asked for a ride.

After she told the suspect, ‘No,’ the woman allegedly got into her car and pulled out a knife.

The victim said she drove around but could not find where the alleged suspect wanted to go.

According to the affidavit, the victim stopped at a liquor store after the alleged suspect told her she needed to stop at the “giggle juice store.”

Officers arrested 45-year-old Mardell Louise Tubbs with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and kidnapping.

She is being held on a $55,000 bond.
