NORMAN, Okla. -  A tragic Christmas Eve crash in Norman claims three lives.

It happened Wednesday after 1:00 p.m. on Highway 9 between 120th and 132nd, south of Lake Thunderbird.

"It appears that one of the two vehicles involved crossed the centerline and struck the other vehicle head on," David Teuscher with Norman Police says.

Police say a man was driving a green pick-up with a female passenger, another man was driving a dark colored Chevy Malibu. All three died in the crash.

"No indications of any alcohol at this point or any other drugs," Teuscher says.

The three victims have been identified as Terry Graumann, Michael Rutherford, and Nellie Billey.

Investigators were on scene for hours trying to piece together what happened.

"These type of collisions on a holiday are always hard on the officers that work the collisions as obviously is the family that has to deal with the aftermath of this," Teuscher said.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
