GUTHRIE, Okla. – As families were celebrating around the Christmas tree, the Earth decided to move.

Shortly after 2:30 p.m., residents across the state reported feeling an earthquake.

The U.S. Geological Survey reports a 3.8 magnitude quake was recorded near Guthrie.
