Update: One person dead after head-on collision in Oklahoma

MUSTANG, Okla. – One person is dead after a head-on collision in Canadian County, Okla. Thursday night.

It happened on Highway 4, near Southwest 134th St. just south of Mustang around 8:30 p.m.

Troopers say three vehicles were involved in the crash.

Five people were in the accident, including at least one adult and two minors who were transported to OU Medical Center.

We don’t know the extent of any of the other injuries at this time.

The southbound lane of Highway 4 was closed for several hours Christmas night.

The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
