OKLAHOMA CITY – A holiday family gathering ended up in a family fight and one person taken to jail.

Oklahoma City police officers say were called to a home on  NE 31st. St. after a family fight Christmas Day.

According to officers, family members say a man inside was fighting with the rest of the relatives inside the home.

A woman told police that her brother, Ray Jamelle Love, 26, hit her in the head with a skillet during an argument.

Officers say she also had a swollen eye and was bleeding on her face.

When officers got inside the home, they found Love being held down on the living room floor by another family member.

Police say Love could not give any details or logical explanation about what happened.

According to the arrest report, Love was very intoxicated with alcohol.

Officers say Love admitted he did not remember being in a physical confrontation that night or why he was being held on the ground “by everyone”.

Love was arrested and taken to jail on assault and battery charges.
