Thunder Sting Hornets in Rout

The Oklahoma City Thunder held Charlotte to just 28 percent field goal shooting on their way to a 98-75 win over the Hornets on Friday night at Chesapeake Arena.

Russell Westbrook led OKC with 29 points, with only two other Thunder players in double figure scoring.

Serge Ibaka had 13 points and 14 rebounds, while Anthony Morrow came off the bench to score 11 points, with three 3-pointers.

The Thunder’s lead grew steadily throughout the game, leading by nine after one quarter, by 19 at halftime, and by 25 after three quarters.

OKC shot just 41 percent, but were in total control of the game from the start.

The Thunder improved to 15-16 on the season, and will next visit Dallas on Sunday at 6:30.
