OU Defensive Starter Leaving Early For NFL

NORMAN, Okla. - OU redshirt sophomore defensive tackle Jordan Phillips announced he will enter the NFL draft early via twitter on Tuesday, December 30.

The Kansas native would have had two years of eligibility left at OU.

Phillips was recently named to the All-Big 12 Second Team by the league's coaches.

He started every game at defensive tackle this season and finished the year with 38 tackles, seven were for a loss and two sacks.
