CHICAGO – A Morton Salt company building partially collapsed in Chicago on Tuesday.
According to WGN, when the building collapsed, salt poured onto several nearby vehicles.
Fire officials said workers at the facility apparently piled the salt higher than they were supposed to, and the resulting pressure caused a wall to collapse.
There were no reported injuries.
WGN says the salt buried at least 11 cars next door in a car dealership lot.
