Injured elephant stuck in a mud hole

WEST BENGAL, India-- Rescuers in India are trying to save an injured elephant that is stuck in a mud pool.

So far, no happy ending.

A crane and two domestic elephants were brought to the scene to help the elephant out of the mud.

According to the forest department, the elephant suffered injuries a month and a half ago, leaving the poor thing with less than enough strength to cope with this situation.
