DUNCAN, Okla. – An Oklahoma man was taken into custody for allegedly threatening hospital staff.

According to Duncan Police Lieutenant David Woods, a woman was at Duncan Regional Hospital for injuries related to domestic violence when her husband, Steve Barnett, allegedly threatened hospital staff.

Police say Barnett was attempting to contact the victim, but it is the hospital’s policy not to allow the victim to have contact with a possible suspect.

The alleged threats caused the hospital to go on lockdown for two hours.

Barnett was taken into custody at his home in Duncan.
