Two overnight earthquakes shake the Sooner State

GUTHRIE, Okla. –  Did they wake you up last night?

Several folks called the NewsChannel 4 newsroom in the wee hours of the morning reporting two earthquakes in Oklahoma.

The U.S. Geological Survey confirms the first quake was centered near Guthrie, Okla. around 12:30 a.m. Friday.

It had a 4.0 magnitude.

Then, about an hour later, a second earthquake happened near Perry, Okla.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, that quake registered a 2.5 magnitude.
