VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WTKR) - A Navy wife is facing jail time after she admitted to stealing from the Navy SEAL Foundation.

The foundation relies mostly on donations to help families of Navy SEALs killed in combat or accidents.

The foundation provides everything from help with burial expenses to college scholarships for children of SEALs.

According to WTKR, Tammy Mason admits that she did not deserve the money she took from the charity.

According to Robin King, the foundation's CEO, Mason had a charity credit card and used it for personal expenses.

Court files indicate that she stole 'more than $200' from the charity.

King says the loss was closer to $100,000.

A document with the facts of the crime has been sealed at the request of the defense attorney.

She will be sentenced for embezzlement next month.
