PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – At one time or another, everyone has made a typo.
However, one rug company’s mistake put them in the doghouse recently.
Officials with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office say the two rugs they ordered from the company looked nice, until you looked a little closer.
Authorities say the department’s emblem should read, “In God We Trust.”
Instead, it read, “In Dog We Trust” on the rugs.
A deputy working security at the building noticed the error.
The rug company admitted to making the mistake and said it would replace them with corrected versions.
