STILLWATER, Okla. – Authorities issued an arrest warrant related to the tragic death of a Stillwater man.

18-year-old Tristen Taylor is wanted for manslaughter.

In December, 21-year-old Alexander Vierling was found dead in Stillwater.

Officials say he was shot in the head.

A gun was found on the coffee table in front of Vierling.

Witnesses say the shooting was an accident.

According to court documents, Alex was showing the gun to people at a house party when he was shot.

Court documents say Alex told Tristen, “You won’t shoot me with it.”

Tristen then allegedly pointed the gun at Alex and fired the gun.

When police arrived, Tristen reportedly raised her hands and shouted, “I shot him, it was an accident.  I thought it was a toy and he said ‘shoot me.'”

According to the police report, alcohol may have played a role in the shooting.

Taylor’s bond is set at $75,000.
