PURCELL, Okla. – A case involving a car that was found in an Oklahoma lake remains a mystery.

Last week, officials in Purcell found a car partly submerged in the city lake.

According to the Purcell Police Department, the vehicle was not occupied.

During their investigation, officials discovered the vehicle was actually reported stolen twice more than 20 years ago.
