Man admits to shooting teen for throwing snowballs at his car

YORK, Pa. – A man in Pennsylvania was arrested for allegedly shooting a teenager for throwing snowballs at his car.

According to WPMT, 22-year-old Jerquan Dickson allegedly shot a 15-year-old boy after police say a group of juveniles threw snowballs at this car.

A witness told police he noticed a group of juveniles running in the area where the shooting took place.  He says one of them had a snowball.

Shortly after the shooting, the witness told police he saw a man emerge from an alley, get into a car and speed off.

After locating Dickson’s vehicle, police say the man told officers he followed the teens after his car was hit by snowballs.

According to WPMT, Dickson told police he shot his handgun into the snow in the direction of the juveniles.

Police say they found six shell casings at the scene of the shooting.

One 15-year-old was taken to the hospital suffering from several gun shot wounds.

Police say his injuries are non life threatening.

Dickson is charged with two counts of felony aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.
