UPDATE: Oklahoma City police have released surveillance footage from Penn Square Mall related to a pair of armed robberies.

OKLAHOMA CITY - A woman held at gunpoint escapes with the help of some quick thinking Oklahomans.

Courtney, who's asked that her last name not be released, was robbed by an alleged gunman last Friday outside of Penn Square Mall. But moments after the robbery began, she says it was a man in his car that helped her escape.

"He was a lifesaver, and for the life of me I don't remember his name," said Courtney.

The good Samaritans name is Gregory Wolfinbarger. He and his wife were on their way to the movies when they saw Courtney backing away, screaming for help in the parking lot.

"Noticed a lady was obviously shaken," said Wolfinbarger. "We saw her backing up."

"There was a man with a gun telling me to give [him] all of my money," said Courtney. "About that time I saw somebody coming from the JC Penny area."

Courtney darted into the car, while the suspect made a run for it.

Police were quick on the scene, and this wasn't their first stop in the lot on Friday.

Police reports show there were two armed robberies in the area that night, but it's unclear if they are related.

Courtney couldn't believe her luck when Gregory and his wife drove by, but Gregory says luck has nothing to do with it.

"God put us there for a reason," said Wolfinbarger. "We were just happy to help her."
