Penn Square Mall

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police are investigating a pair of robberies that took place in the parking lot of a local mall.

Police say a shopper was held up in the Penn Square Mall parking lot Saturday.

The man told police he was shopping in J.C. Penny when he noticed someone following him.

According to the police report, when the man left the store and went into the parking lot, the suspect told the man to stop.

The suspect allegedly demanded that the victim give him all his money.

After taking $500, the suspect reportedly told the man to run.

The man ran to a nearby store, where he called police.

Less than an hour later, another victim says she was also robbed in the Penn Square Mall parking lot.

Police say they are investigating to see if the two robberies are related.
