UPDATE: Oklahoma authorities find missing man

UPDATE: On Thursday, authorities found Dylan Harris in the area where he was last seen on Jan. 28.

Deputies say Harris was not harmed and no foul play is suspected.

 

GARVIN COUNTY, Okla. – Oklahoma authorities are searching for a missing man.

Officials say 20-year-old Dylan Ray Harris went missing January 28, 2015 around 7:30 p.m. near Elmore City.

According to the Garvin County Sheriff’s Office, Harris did not have his cell phone or access to a vehicle.

Harris’ family told authorities he is diagnosed with a mental health disorder and is prescribed medications, which he does not have with him.

The Garvin County Sheriff’s Office considers Harris to be endangered due to his condition and need for treatment.

The 20-year-old was last seen wearing a black or blue shirt and gray sweat pants. He has brown hair, weighs approximately 175 lbs, and is about 5’11” tall.

Officials say Harris is said to be paranoid of law enforcement officers and may not seek assistance because of this.

Investigators want Harris and others to know he is not wanted in connection with any criminal activity.
