GARVIN COUNTY, Okla. - Authorities say a man out on bond for stealing an $80,000 motor home is at it again.

Kenneth Ray Wright, 28, was out on a $15,000 bond in Custer County for stealing the 40 foot RV from Floyd’s RV in Goldsby last week.

Early Sunday morning, Garvin County authorities say he struck again at Pettit Machinery just south of town.

Pettit Machinery employee Steve Danieley got the call 1:30 Sunday morning about a theft at the business.

“We have cameras on the building which are live monitored 24 hours a day,” said Danieley.

When Danieley arrived, he found one of the company’s trucks and a trailer parked in the street.

The suspect took off in the truck, hauling the trailer and Danieley gave chase.

Sheriff’s deputies joined in and pursued the suspect for about 45 miles before he got stuck in the mud.

They discovered it was the same suspect that had stolen the RV from Floyd’s.

“Some people don’t get it.  But again, he’s probably not one of the smartest people in the world so you know, what do you expect?” said Robert Floyd, owner of Floyd’s RV.

Danieley is hoping they put an end to what looked like a crime spree.

“We got our man.  That’s all I care about,” said Danieley.

Garvin County authorities are now looking into the possibility that Wright is involved in even more crimes, extending to numerous stolen trucks in north Texas.

Wright is in the Garvin County jail on a $100,000 bond.
