OKLAHOMA CITY – The morning got off to a chilly start, but it is an improvement from Monday’s temperatures.
Around 6 a.m., temperatures topped out in the mid-20s, but felt like it was in the teens with the wind.
On Tuesday afternoon, those winds picked up with gusts up to 20 mph.
Temperatures reached the middle 50s for most of the state, even reaching the high 60s in the panhandle.
By Tuesday evening, temperatures dropped back down to the 30s.
On Wednesday afternoon, a front will move into the state, drastically dropping temperatures.
The wind will pick up behind the front, so you will definitely know when it moves through Oklahoma.
By Wednesday evening, there is a slight chance for patchy drizzle in central and eastern portions of the state.
On Thursday morning, temperatures will be in the teens with a wind chill making it feel like the single digits.
Fortunately, everything changes just in time for the weekend.
Stay tuned for the latest.
