WICHITA COUNTY, Texas – A Texas man was arrested after trying to pay his property taxes.

However, officials say the problem wasn’t that he was paying a bill.

Timothy Norris showed up to the Wichita County tax office just ahead of the Feb. 1 deadline to pay his property taxes.

Authorities say Norris brought $600 in bills that were all intricately folded.

The bills were folded so tightly that it took an employee six minutes to unfold just one.

Authorities say Norris then became disruptive and was charged with criminal trespassing after he refused to leave the office.

The 27-year-old was also charged with resisting arrest after struggling with a sheriff’s deputy.
