Oklahoma State’s 21st-ranked men’s basketball team rallaied from an eight-point first half deficit and and used a 20-6 run in the second half to overtake Baylor and beat the Bears 74-65 on Monday night at the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas.

Trailing by one at halftime, the Cowboys came out hot to start the second half, building an 11-point lead before Baylor made a late rally to cut the OSU lead to three.

Phil Forte answered with a three-pointer, then two Le’Bryan Nash jumpers sealed the win for the Cowboys, who won their third straight game.

Nash led all scorers with 22 points, while Forte had 18 points and made three 3-pointers.

Two other Cowboys were in double figure scoring, as Jeff Newberry had 16 points and Anthony Hickey 12.

Hickey scored all of his points on three-pointers.

OSU made nine three-pointers as a team, and turned the ball over just seven times.

The Cowboys improved to 17-7 overall, 7-5 in the Big 12.

OSU visits TCU for a 5:00 tipoff on Saturday in Fort Worth, Texas.
