OKLAHOMA CITY – It was a cold start but the day really warmed up.
Around 6 a.m., temperatures were in the 40s but a wind chill made it feel closer to 35 degrees.
The winds picked up a bit, increasing fire danger across the state.
Temperatures jumped into the mid-70s for parts of the state, including central Oklahoma.
On Tuesday night, temps will drop into the mid-40s.
On Wednesday, a cold front will move into the state and drop the temperatures by about 20 degrees.
There is a chance for a few light showers in central Oklahoma and temperatures will be in the mid-50s.
Thursday will be even colder with high temperatures in the 40s and 50s.
It will warm up slightly by Friday, but another big cool down is on the way.
