POTEAU, Okla. – Officials have cancelled a Silver Alert that was issued last week after the elderly man was found dead.

According to the Poteau Police Department, 81-year-old Jack Davis was reported missing around 8 p.m. February 9.

Authorities say Davis had a medical or physical disability which led them to believe he may have been in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.

He was last seen wearing fleece pajama pants in the 300 block of Crest Court in Poteau.

On February 17, authorities announced Davis was found dead.

No other information has been released at this time.
