“50 Shades” at drive-in theater can be seen from California highway

(KCRA) “Fifty Shades of Grey” smashed records at the weekend box office, and now the risque film continues to turn heads in Sacramento, California. Literally.

The movie is being shown on one of the big-screens at the West Wind Drive-In, right off Highway 50, meaning the erotic romance-novel-turned-feature-film has given people in and around the area quite the eyeful.

The biggest shock seems to be coming from right next door, at the K1 Speed indoor go-kart racing facility, where many families spent their Presidents Day holiday.

“I just don’t think it should be on a big screen out in the middle of the public, where anybody could turn around and see it,” said mother Susan Weiss.
