Sooner Women Fall In Overtime To Iowa State

After battling back from down 14 in the second half, the OU women’s basketball team fell in overtime to Iowa State 84-76.

The loss is the Sooners third to come in an overtime game this season.

Sherri Coale’s squad struggled to score when it counted most, making just one basket over the final 2:30 of the game and overtime.

Peyton Little tied a career high with 22 points and was one of four Sooners to score in double figures.

Sharane Campbell-Olds helped rally OU in the second half, hitting five three-pointers in the game and finished with 18 points.

OU travels to Kansas State on Saturday, February 21, for a 7 p.m. CT contest with the Wildcats.
