UPDATE: It seems several Oklahoma City Thunder players could be involved in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets.

According to Yahoo! Sports, the Nets and Thunder are working on a deal that would include center Kendrick Perkins, forward Perry Jones and guard Reggie Jackson joining the team.

In exchange, the Thunder would get center Brook Lopez.

Lopez averages 15.3 points and 6.2 rebounds a game for the Nets.

The site claims Jackson turned down a four-year, $48 million extension with the Thunder.

OKLAHOMA CITY – While many Oklahoma City Thunder fans are focused on the team’s health, reports indicate the team may be looking for a point guard.

According to Yahoo! Sports, Reggie Jackson has asked to be traded before Thursday’s NBA deadline.

Jackson failed to reach a contract extension with the Thunder last year, meaning he would become a restricted free agent in July.

The site reports that Jackson wants to be the starting point guard, but does not have that opportunity with the Thunder.

At this point, the team is not commenting on the potential trade.
