Sheriff’s office working to reunite Sooner fan with lost memorabilia
CLEVELAND COUNTY, Okla. – Football fans are known to be a passionate and loyal group.
When it comes to OU fans, many people flock to Norman each Saturday to see if a little ‘Sooner Magic’ will be on display.
Now, the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office is trying to reunite a fan with a lost piece of memorabilia.
Sheriff Joe Lester, with the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, says a signed OU football was found in a neighborhood immediately after the May 10, 2010 tornado.
The football is in good condition and should be reunited with its rightful owners.
“Somebody out there has lost a piece of Sooner memorabilia that is important to them,” Lester said. “We are trying to do everything we can to reunite this football with its owner.”
The rightful owner must be able to identify the signatures on the football.
If you have any information on the owner, call (405) 701-8888.
