Oklahoma hospitalizations related to the flu continue to fall

OKLAHOMA CITY – The latest information on the flu suggests the virus may be slowing down in Oklahoma.

Within the last week, two Oklahomans have died from the virus, bringing the total number of deaths to 84.

The flu started spreading across the state in September.

Since that time, almost 2,000 people have been hospitalized with the flu.

According to the latest information from the Oklahoma State Health Department, the number of patients being diagnosed with the flu has continued to fall since early January.
